GRAPHIC DESIGNER IN ALLSTON, MA

 Responsibilities:

Design web content, graphics, multimedia and written content in Korean language for The Boston Korean site;

○ Produce advertisement design with Korean text to attract target users;

○ Write web pages in a combination of hypertext mark-up language (HTML), Javascript, Actionscript, and Flash MX, and use code-generating programs, such as Dreamweaver MX;

○ Decide on how images and other material will be digitally optimized and presented for the web and the newspaper layouts; Ensure that the content layout is accessible and logical;

○ Test the website for functionality in different browsers and at different resolutions;

○ Correct errors;

○ Ensure regular communication and provide written reports to Editor-in-Chief.

○ Supervise one assistant

Requirements:

○ Master Degree in Graphic Design, Design or closely related.

○ Must be bilingual in English and Korean to work on Korean newspaper site.

 ○ Must know how to use Action script, Flash MX and code-generating programs such as

    Dreamweaver MX.
