Album “Free Wired” launches October 12th Soju and Korean on Music Video

ItKorean-American Hip Hop group the Far East Movement (FM) lands on the American mainstream Hip Hop music market. FM ranked top ten on Billboard Hot 100 chart, second on apple i-tunes, and they are ready to release their official debut album “Free Wired” under the Cherry Tree/Interscope Records on October 12th.

FM, comprised of Korean American Prohgress, J-Spliff, Chinese Japanese Keve Nish and Philiphino American DJ Virman, is the first Asian-American hip hop group contracts with a major American recording company.

They show Korean Soju, Beer, Korean on music video scenes, and promote that they are a Korean American hiphop group. FM’s new song “Like a G6” has been ranked top on sales and radio charts since it was released, and ranked as the second hot song recommended by top 40 radio in U.S music industry. Also FM has placed the first on Myspace, and received 7 million Youtube views and 4.5 million Myspace streams.

The FM’s debut album “Free Wired” is a movement that FM created, which represent everything they do from technology to fashion in addition to their blend of hiphop, eletro, and dance music. FM used to intern at Interscope Recordings but their first hit song “Girls On The Dance Floor”, which toped on LA Radio chart in 2009 catapulted them to stardom. Their club sound music draw attention from television and film executives, and soon featured in “Entourage”, “CSI”, “Gossip Girl”, “Fast and Furious; Tokyo Drift”, “Get Him To The Greek”, which led them to top ranks in Billboard Chart.

FM perfomed in Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball tour, N*E*R*D’s Army Tour, Robyn/Kelis’s All Hearts Tour and LMFAO’s Party Rock. In addition, FM’s debut album “Free Wired” got supports from stars including Ryan Tedder (One Republic), Snoop Dogg, Keri Hilson, Lil Jon and production from the Stereotypes (Grammy nominated), Smeezingtons (Bruno Mars and Phil Lawrence), Roger Sanchez (Grammy winning) and Fernando Garibay.
