STARPREP® AP PROGRAM · Jan–May 2026
AP Course Guide · 5‑Score Strategy Jan–Feb full‑course review · Mar–Exam Day real‑exam practice · Group classes & 1:1 personalized track
In the STARPREP AP Program, over 92% of students have earned a 5 (top score) in recent cohorts. From January to February, we rebuild the entire course by concept and unit; from March to exam day, we complete the track with past papers, mock exams, and FRQ‑focused training. The curriculum is designed to raise both school GPA and AP scores (5‑score target) at the same time.

STARPREP AP Program Overview & Key Strengths
- Each AP course is broken down by unit, question type, and rubric language, so students learn concepts and application in a single integrated structure.
- Jan–Feb: Full‑course review — We follow the core textbook and the College Board Course & Exam Description, systematically covering essential concepts, formulas, and graph/table interpretation without gaps.
- Mar–Exam Day: Real‑exam focused training — Using recent past papers and mock sets, we target MCQ speed & accuracy and FRQ answers aligned to official rubrics.
- All classes are English‑led by default, with optional bilingual support and explicit coaching on English FRQ/essay phrasing.
- We link directly to the school curriculum so that unit tests, midterms, and finals are built into the plan — managing GPA and AP scores together.
- Every subject can be taken as a group class + 1:1 add‑on, allowing customized portfolios by target university, major, and career interest.

AP scores are reported on a scale from 1–5; many universities grant credit/placement for 3+. At STARPREP, the curriculum is not built around “passing” but around a 5‑score target for every student.
Performance Snapshot · 5‑Score Outcomes
STARPREP AP results are tracked using official College Board score reports.
- 5‑Score rate: 92%+
Across recent cohorts, over 92% of STARPREP AP students earned a 5 on their exams.
- The remaining students are predominantly in the 4‑score band, which means the entire score report becomes an advantage in college applications.
- Average difficulty and global score distributions by subject can be seen in the “AP 5 & 4 Score Rates” table and the AP score iframe below.

Group Classes (Regular Cohort)
Weekend intensive · Online/On‑Campus
Our weekend cohort classes move with students at a similar level. Jan–Feb is full‑course review; from March onward, the class shifts to real‑exam training.
- Jan–Feb · Full‑course review
· Build the full course map (units, definitions, formulas, graphs/tables)
· Introduce key item types and anchor FRQs plus basic answer templates
- Mar–Exam Day · Exam‑focused instruction
· Solve recent past papers and mock sets under timed conditions
· Train FRQ rubric language, graph/unit checking, and a structured error‑analysis loop (concept/setup/operations/interpretation/time)
- Final run‑through
· Full‑length cumulative mock exams + targeted “sparring” for weak units
· Confirm exam‑day strategy (time allocation, bubbling routine, error checklist)
If any gaps remain after group class, students can add the same subject as a 1:1 personalized track to close weaknesses quickly.
Personalized 1:1 Track
Close specific gaps School GPA + AP 5‑score
A fully customized 1:1 course designed around current level, school curriculum, and target universities. We cover weak units that group classes cannot fully address and integrate school exams into the plan.
- Phase 1: Diagnostics & goal setting
· Level test + analysis of past school exams/assignments
· Confirm AP target (5), GPA target, and timeline
- Phase 2: Gap‑closing
· Intensively fill conceptual gaps (e.g., functions/vectors/basic stats, chemical equilibrium, physics vectors, etc.)
· 2–3 weeks before each school exam, switch to school‑text/worksheet/previous‑paper–based GPA boot camp
- Phase 3: 5‑Score finishing
· AP past‑paper MCQ & FRQ sets at 5‑score level
· Tag error patterns (calculation, condition, reading graphs, etc.) and re‑train through personalized mini‑sets
1:1 sessions are scheduled as a personal timetable on weekdays, weekends, or during breaks (e.g., weekdays 7–9 PM, weekend mornings). Exact times are finalized after KakaoTalk/phone consultation.
