1 · Program Overview
Winter Digital SAT® Reading & Writing Intensive — From Foundations to 1580+
The STARPREP® Winter SAT® BOOT CAMP™ – Reading & Writing Track is a 4‑week intensive built exclusively around the Digital SAT Reading & Writing section. There is no Math component in this program: every class, every assignment, and every mock test is focused solely on R/W.
This program is especially effective for three types of students:
- Students who feel their foundations are weak – Build confidence with clear instruction in reading, grammar, and vocabulary, reinforced by daily practice.
- 1300–1400 plateau students – Diagnose and fix the habits that keep scores stuck, such as careless errors, misreading, and poor time management.
- Top scorers aiming for 1500–1580+ and 800 R/W – Use winter to polish high‑level reasoning, precision, and consistency with advanced sets and digital mocks.
2 · Program Dates & Weekly Enrollment
· Program Duration
• Monday, December 15, 2025 – Friday, January 9, 2026 · Total of 4 weeks
· Flexible Weekly Enrollment
• New students may start on any Monday (KST)
• Recommended attendance: 2–3 weeks
• Examples: 1 week, 2 weeks, last 3 weeks, or the full 4‑week boot camp, depending on schedule and goals.
· Weekly Curriculum (Self‑Contained)
• Each week provides roughly 300 pages of fresh Reading & Writing + vocabulary content
• No content overlap with STARPREP® summer intensives or other winter programs
• Even if you attend only one or two weeks, each week functions as a complete, stand‑alone R/W package
3 · Class Schedule — Global Live R/W Only
· KST Time (Seoul/Tokyo)
• Digital SAT Reading & Writing: Mon–Fri · 09:00–13:00 (4 hours/day, 5 days/week)

4 · Daily Structure (R/W Only) — Instruction · Testing · Review
Each class day follows the same, predictable five‑block structure:
- Intensive Reading Module 1 (Core Instruction) – Easy to intermediate passages; accuracy and basic reasoning
- Intensive Reading Module 2 (Core Instruction) – More advanced passages; higher‑order reasoning and nuance
- Intensive Writing Modules 1 & 2 (Core Instruction) – Grammar, sentence structure, logic, transitions, and style
- Daily Vocabulary Test (Words‑in‑Context format) – Based on the words assigned as homework the previous day
- Vocabulary Test Review Session – Explanation, error analysis, and consolidation of confusing words
Vocabulary memorization is completed outside of class. Class time is used for testing and feedback, turning “memorized” words into words students can actually recognize and apply under exam pressure.
5 · Homework Load & Vocabulary System
· Vocabulary Homework
• Approximately 160 words per day assigned as homework
• Checked the following day through the Daily Vocab Test (WIC format)
· Reading & Writing Homework
• Additional reading sets and passages
• Writing/grammar drills, re‑solving missed problems, and structured review of explanations
• Homework is designed to stabilize and extend what was taught earlier that day.
· Daily Study Volume
• 4 hours of live class + at least 3 hours of homework/self‑study strongly recommended
• For on‑site students, the study room is open until 5:00 PM (KST)
For students with weaker foundations, this becomes a structured rebuilding program. For mid‑ to high‑level students, it is an opportunity to increase volume, quality, speed, and strategy all at once.
6 · R/W Curriculum, Weekly Modules & Mock Tests
· Weekly Volume
• Around 9.5 sets / 19 modules of Reading & Writing per week
• Over 4 weeks, that totals 76 modules — the equivalent of several months of self‑study, compressed into one winter.
· Skills Covered
• Reading: main idea, detail, inference, function, tone, evidence‑based reasoning, data displays, and more
• Writing: grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, logical flow, transitions, word choice, concision, and rhetorical skills
• Strategy: eliminating traps, using evidence to justify answers, and managing time by module
• Vocabulary: homework + WIC‑style testing + in‑class review for practical, test‑ready vocabulary
· Friday – Full‑Length Digital SAT R/W Mock
• Every Friday, students take a full Reading & Writing mock on STARPREP®’s own Digital SAT platform
• The interface, timer, and module structure are designed to feel similar to the official Bluebook™ experience
· Review Workshops
• After each mock, we analyze high‑miss questions and common error types (concept gaps vs. carelessness vs. time pressure)
• Students receive concrete guidance on what to fix and how to adjust before the March and May test dates.
7 · Digital Platform & Faculty
· Bluebook‑Style Digital Platform
• Students test on STARPREP®’s in‑house Digital SAT system
• This is not a generic third‑party quiz tool, but a platform designed to mirror Bluebook‑style layout, timing, and navigation.
· Live Concurrent Instruction
• All classes are taught live — this is not a pre‑recorded video course
• On‑site and online students receive the same lectures, materials, tests, and homework.
· Expert R/W Faculty
• Instructors specialize in Digital SAT Reading & Writing
• Our team has followed the evolution from Old SAT → New SAT → Digital SAT over many exam cycles
• We focus on correcting patterns commonly seen in international and bilingual students, guiding them toward SAT‑style logic and natural American English patterns.
8 · Who Thrives in This Program?
- Students with shaky foundations who feel lost in Reading & Writing and want to use winter to build a clear structure and lift their score band.
- 1300–1400 plateau students who are already studying but not seeing movement in their actual scores.
- Ambitious students targeting 1500–1580+ and 800 R/W who want to finish most of their refinement and exam adaptation before spring.
In short, this boot camp is designed as a winter R/W intensive that moves each student one tier up — from weak to solid, from solid to strong, and from strong to top 1%.
9 · STARPREP® Results, History & Stability
• Multiple 1600 full scorers, 800 R/W perfect scorers, and 1580–1590+ high scorers
