I like 밤나무골's post. That was really detailed and helpful. So bottom line, don't sell your car! That seems to be kind of weird advice. Oh, but there's one thing I forgot to mention: in Boston, lots of people seem to be able to get around without owning a car at all (the public transportation network in Boston is quite well-planned, and there are only occasional outages during the winter when there are major storms). So maybe it's a good idea to sell your car, after all... | |

서부와 동부의 차이는겨울이 있다는것 입니다. 눈이 많이 내리기에 제설차가 소금을 많이 뿌려 염분이 차체를 부식하게 합니다. 겨울철에 눈이 내린후 차를 사용 했다면 물로 염분을 제거해야 차량에 부식을 방지 합니다. 30년 전에 와서 처음 느낀점은 차를 사면 옵션으로 Under coating을 해야 차량의 부식을 방지할수 있었는데 지금은 그런 옵션이 없는듯 합니다. 차를 가지고 온다면 겨울철에 관리를 잘 하셔야 할것 입니다. 이곳에서 2-3년 운행후에는 차량의 아래부분에서 녹이 발생 할것 입니다. | |

| I don't know much about cars, but based on some internet searching I did, it looks like it would only make a difference where the car was used, only if you are trying to sell a used car. And presumably, this is because the weather makes a difference? A 3 year old car that went through extreme weather conditions might be in a worse overall condition than a 3 year old car that saw relatively milder weather. That seems like a sensible thing to think. | |
