안녕하세요.
새크라멘토 한국학교에서는 2023년 여름 전남 곡성에서 열리는 예술로 이중언어 캠프에 참여할 학생들을 모집합니다. 이중언어 캠프는 곡성군 미래교육재단과 극단 마실이 공동으로 주관하는 프로그램으로 7월 12일부터 7월 15일까지 3박 4일동안 전라남도 곡성에서 진행됩니다. 곡성 지역 중학생과 해외 중학생들이 교류하며 한 편의 공연을 같이 만들면서 주도적인 학습 경험과 문화적인 교류를 하게 됩니다.

극단 마실은 이중언어 캠프를 꾸준히 열어왔습니다. 재작년의 경우 미네소타 콩코디아 "숲속의 호수" 한국어 캠프에 참여한 학생들과 곡성 중학생들이 온라인으로 만나 언어캠프를 진행하며 좋은 반응을 얻어낸 바 있습니다. (관련 기사: https://www.hani.co.kr/ arti/society/schooling/ 1006189.html) 작년에는 곡성 지역에서 곡성 지역 중학생과 해외 중학생들이 직접 만나 2박 3일 캠프를 했고, 청정지역으로 대표되는 곡성의 자연환경을 마음껏 누리며, 예술적 경험을 더 풍부하게 하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 파일럿으로 진행했던 작년 캠프에는 세계 각국에서 모인 전문가들의 관심과 지원이 있었는데, 스웨덴에서 다큐멘터리 작가가 참여해 캠프의 영상을 담았습니다. 같은 장소에서 캠프를 진행하니, 아래 영상을 통해 캠프 장소를 미리 확인하세요. 이번 캠프에서는 학부모님들의 참여도 기다리고 있습니다. 아침 식사 도우미로 도와주실 수 있는 분들이 계신다면 지원해 주시기 바랍니다. 아이들이 캠프를 하는 동안 부모님들도 함께 머무르시면서 주변 자연을 즐기실 수 있는 좋은 기회입니다. 참가를 원하는 학생/학부모님들은 아래 구글폼을 이용하여 참가 신청서를 작성해주시기 바랍니다. 학생 참가비 300불, 학부모 참가비 100불(숙박비, 아침식사 제공)은 check나 venmo(@kssac, 아래 QR 코드 참고)로 납부 가능합니다.

We are excited to announce that the Korean School of Sacramento is recruiting students for an upcoming arts-focused bilingual camp in Gokseong, Jeollanam-do, South Korea, during the summer of 2023. The bilingual camp, organized by the Gokseong Future Education Foundation and the theater company, Masil, will take place from July 12th to July 15th. This unique program offers local middle school students from Gokseong and overseas middle school students the opportunity to collaborate and create a performance together while also gaining leadership experience and engaging in cultural exchange. It is a chance for students to explore their creativity and expand their cultural horizons in a fun and educational environment.

Masil Theater has been consistently holding bilingual language camps. In the previous year, students who participated in the Korean language camp "Lake in the Forest" at Concordia Language Villages in Minnesota and Gokseong middle school students met online to conduct language camps, receiving positive feedback. (Related article: https://www.hani.co. kr/arti/society/schooling/ 1006189.html) Last year, Gokseong middle school students and international middle school students met in person in Gokseong for a 2-night, 3-day camp, enjoying the natural environment of Gokseong, known as a clean area, and enriching their artistic experiences. The pilot camp held last year received interest and support from experts from around the world, with a documentary filmmaker from Sweden participating and capturing the camp's video footage. We are also welcoming the participation of parents in this year's camp. If you are able to assist as a breakfast helper, please do consider supporting us. This would be a great opportunity for parents to enjoy the surrounding nature while their students are at camp. To register for the camp, please fill out the application form below. The student participation fee is $300, and the parent participation fee is $100 (including lodging and breakfast), which can be paid by check or Venmo (@kssac, see QR code below).
