STARPREP  Summer Math Programs Overview

Our summer math program

1. Pre-Learning Courses (Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, etc.)

These courses are designed to give students a head start by previewing math content from the upcoming semester or even the entire next school year. 

By covering core topics in advance, students can strengthen their conceptual understanding, build confidence, and boost their academic performance during the regular school term.

이 과정은 학생들이 다음 학기 또는 다음 학년의 수학 내용을 미리 학습할 수 있도록 구성되어 있습니다.
핵심 개념을 사전에 익힘으로써 학생들은 개념적 이해를 강화하고 자신감을 높이며, 학기 중 내신 성적 향상에도 큰 도움이 됩니다.

2. Math Competition Preparation (AMC 8, AMC 10, AMC 12)

This track is aimed at students preparing for prestigious math contests such as the AMC 8, AMC 10, and AMC 12. 

Through intensive practice with past problems and a focus on theoretical concepts and problem-solving strategies, students can significantly enhance their mathematical thinking and performance in competitions.

이 과정은 AMC 8, AMC 10, AMC 12와 같은 권위 있는 수학 경시대회를 준비하는 학생들을 위한 트랙입니다.
기출문제 집중 훈련과 이론적 개념, 문제 해결 전략에 대한 학습을 통해 수학적 사고력을 키우고, 대회에서의 성과를 높일 수 있습니다.

3. Post-AP Math Courses (Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, etc.)

These courses are intended for top-performing students who have already completed AP-level math, such as AP Calculus AB/BC. 

The post-AP curriculum includes advanced topics typically covered in college-level courses and serves as the final stage of high school math preparation. It also supports students aiming to excel in school-based honors or advanced math assessments.

이 과정은 AP 미적분(AB/BC) 과정을 이미 이수한 최상위권 학생들을 위한 고급 수업입니다.

포스트-AP 커리큘럼은 대학 수준의 심화 수학 내용을 다루며, 고등학교 수학 과정의 마지막 단계로서 내신 대비뿐만 아니라 고급 수학 역량 강화에도 중점을 둡니다.

All-English Class where all instruction and discussion are conducted in English.

Lessons are primarily conducted in English, but some Korean can be used when requested by the student or their parent.
